Team — I’ve been traveling around our district to hear directly from Oregon families what they want from their representatives right now. And the message has been loud and clear:

Fight back harder.

And that’s exactly what I plan to do, team.

We need to show toughness when it comes to preventing right-wing billionaires like Elon Musk from stealing your health care — so that they can give themselves a giant tax break.

We need to show toughness when it comes to making sure people get their Social Security checks on time — not months from now at a government office that takes two hours to get to.

And we need to show toughness when it comes to preventing Donald Trump from trampling the rule of law — because he is the president, not the king, no matter how much he wants to pretend otherwise.

So here’s my commitment to you:

I can’t promise that we will win every fight.

But I promise that I will always, always have your back. I will fight to put YOUR family, YOUR democracy, and YOUR access to health care before right-wing billionaires.

And I will use the full extent of my power as your representative to stop Donald Trump and Elon Musk from harming our community.
