Elise Stefanik has reached a new low. This week, she said the President struck the right tone on Monday when he threatened to deploy the military to police American streets, as peaceful protestors were being tear-gassed in front of the White House.

This should have been a wake-up call for Elise. She should have condemned the president’s disgusting politics and insults to our Constitution. But she didn’t.

Instead, Stefanik chose to be complicit and remain loyal to Trump. We don’t know if she actually shares his views or is just trying to protect her pro-Trump brand. Either way, it’s not leadership—it’s cowardice.
