Dear John,
It has been 11 days of pain and protest but the power of the people’s resolve is undeniable. A united people will never be divided.
As we apply pressure in numbers on the streets let us come together and mobilize that same pressure using our power to vote. In March, with our partners, we launched the Million Muslim Votes campaign. Together, we are going to turnout a historic number of Muslim voters. We have never been more resolved in our mission.

We need to elect the right people to office - and we need your help to do it. When we mobilize and get out our vote for state attorneys, attorney generals, mayors, judges, and governors that reflect our diverse backgrounds and experiences, we gain a more just, equitable, and representative system.
This Jummah let us remember that our faith guides us to act in service to community, justice and equality.
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted. (Sahih International, 4:135).
If millions can march around the world in one week, we can get one million muslims out to vote in November.
Will you pledge to be one in a million?
We are grateful to the partners that have joined our Million Muslim Votes campaign. Our work would not be possible without you all. Thank you, Muslim Public Affairs Council, American Pakistan Foundation, Council on American-Islamic Relations, Illinois Muslim Civic Coalition, I-PAC Georgia, MPower Change, Muslim Women For, and U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations.
We have the means. We have the numbers. And we have the power to make change.
In solidarity,
Emgage Action
