I served in the military for 16 years. So when I heard about National Security Advisor Mike Waltz’s group chat shenanigans, I was astonished, John.
I mean: There are 19 year olds I served with in Afghanistan who took security practices more seriously than this administration.
All the while, this administration has let go of thousands of public servants – many of whom once served our nation – under the guise of “poor performance.” The hypocrisy is outstanding.
The American people deserve to know that our nation’s military secrets are safe and that the people who caused this breach are held accountable.

The administration cannot continue risking the lives of our servicemembers. I hope that we get accountability soon.
