Elon Musk wants to buy Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. And if we don’t stop him, after next Tuesday's election, he’ll own it.
Musk’s company, Tesla, sued Wisconsin over dealership laws. A loss in the Wisconsin court would cost him money. A win would make him richer. He’s betting $20 million that he can buy the judges he needs.
That is why Musk is backing right-wing extremist Brad Schimel, a Trump loyalist who openly courts MAGA extremists and embraces debunked election conspiracy theories. If Schimel wins, Musk gets a Supreme Court that could:
1.) Rule in his favor on Tesla’s lawsuit.
2.) Protect his massive tax breaks at the expense of Wisconsin workers.
3.) Uphold extreme GOP gerrymanders that keep Republicans in power.
4.) Attack abortion rights, unions, and voting access
Musk has already bought Trump. He’s spent hundreds of millions to build a government that serves him. Now, he’s coming for the courts. Schimel will do his bidding. We can’t let that happen. This is bigger than Wisconsin. It’s a battle for democracy. And we can win—but only if we fight.
