One of the best ways you can make positive change for the environment and climate right now is to join others from across the state in Augusta to speak directly to lawmakers on Conservation Lobby Day!
We hope you will plan to join MCV at the State House on Thursday, April 3, from 8 AM to 12 PM.
If you haven’t experienced Conservation Lobby Day before, here’s what it’s all about: Members and activists from around the state gather together in Augusta to hear from leaders fighting to advance climate action, further environmental justice, and protect the environment. We then help facilitate opportunities for you to talk with your lawmakers about issues that affect you and your community and legislation that will make a difference. |

What: Conservation Lobby Day 2025
When: Thursday, April 3, 8 AM-12 PM
Where: 242 State St., Augusta, temporary location of the Maine State Library |

This year is a little different, as we will first meet at the temporary location of the Maine State Library, located at 242 State Street, Augusta, ME. We’ll have signage and team members ready to guide you to the meeting room. Over coffee, tea, and breakfast snacks, we will discuss priority bills, hear from legislative sponsors, go over tips and tricks for lobbying, and then break into groups. Then we’ll walk together to the State House and take a group picture before meeting with lawmakers.
All are welcome! We want to show our elected representatives that environmental action matters to all Mainers. Please register today to ensure you receive updates and materials for one of our favorite events of the year. If you need a ride to the State House, please indicate that on the sign-up form, and we will do our best to help coordinate transportation.
