It’s been five days since reporting showed that our country’s National Security Advisor and Secretary of Defense demonstrated a profound and egregious carelessness with America’s national security and the lives of our servicemembers.
Why has there been no disciplinary action for those involved in this massive irresponsibility?
Donald Trump made a literal show out of firing people for way smaller mistakes, from way less important jobs.
It’s hard to imagine a bigger mistake Pete Hegseth and Michael Waltz could have made to put servicemembers’ lives at risk.
But suddenly Trump is too scared to fire people? Give me a break.
Our President and the rest of our national security leadership should be the people most concerned about this situation, not shrugging it off — or worse, flat-out lying to the American people about it.
I’m demanding answers — and action — from this Administration. But you have a role to play in this, too. If you agree that Pete Hegseth and Michael Waltz ought to resign, help put the pressure on with a public outcry.
Add your name today to demand disciplinary action against the so-called leaders who so cavalierly put our national security at risk. [[link removed]]
Thanks for speaking up. I won’t stop pushing to make this right.
