Like most people, I like to start my days with a cup of coffee and breakfast. It gives me a boost before I take on Donald Trump's chaos and focus on how I can best represent Illinoisians in the Senate.

Before reading today's news, I decided to check our fundraising numbers ahead of our end-of-quarter deadline.

I hate to share bad news, but the truth is our March fundraising numbers are falling behind where they need to be. I’ve set a goal of raising $10,000 before midnight on March 31, and right now, we still have about $7,300 left to raise.

That's why I wanted to reach out first thing this morning—if everyone reading this pitched in just $5 (the price of a cup of joe!), we’ll close this gap in no time.
