Dear Members and Associates,

Twin Cities DSA is hosting a special public meeting tomorrow at 11 AM (Zoom) on the George Floyd protests and where we go from here, as socialists and activists. The Minneapolis city council is seriously considering proposals to disband the police department and start over in some much more accountable, community-driven way, but pressure has to be sustained for that to happen. This is about events in the Twin Cities, but we can still learn from this and perhaps use some of the ideas generated for our own efforts up here.
