My name is Margaret Cho. You may know me as a comedian, actress, and singer, but today I’m reaching out as a fellow supporter of The Trevor Project to ask for your help.

Growing up queer during a time when resources like Trevor did not exist, I know just how important their life-saving services are. Especially now, in our current climate.

As LGBTQ+ young people and their identities are the topic of political discussion, it is critical that we as adult allies remind them that they are loved and accepted as their authentic selves and that bright futures await them.

All month long Trevor’s community of donors have demonstrated their allyship by investing in Trevor and LGBTQ+ youth suicide prevention. Because we continue to show up for Trevor, their counselors, trainers, researchers, and advocates can continue to show up for LGBTQ+ young people. 

Together, we can create the welcoming world that LGBTQ+ young people need and deserve. We as a community have been through far worse and we survived and thrived. We got this.
