John,

I didn’t plan on running again so soon.

But after everything we’ve seen—the attacks on our rights, the chaos from the far right, and now the upset Democratic wins in places no one thought were in play—I knew I had to get back in this fight.

In 2022, I ran for U.S. Senate. People said it couldn’t be done. But we built a grassroots movement and won 41 out of 44 counties in the primary.

I ran for Congress in 2024 to keep that momentum going. And now, I’m back—running for U.S. Senate again—because MAGA cronies like James Risch are helping to strip this country down and sell it for parts.

And voters everywhere are saying: enough.

Just this week, Democrats flipped a Pennsylvania seat that had been red since 1889.

And in Florida’s 6th District—a seat Ron DeSantis once held—both he and Steve Bannon have publicly admitted they’re worried Republicans could lose it. Elon Musk is even throwing his money at it, hoping to bail them out.

Let me say that again: MAGA leadership are worried they are going to lose a +30 Trump district

If that doesn’t tell you the tide is turning, I don’t know what does.

Voters are rejecting extremism, the bigotry, and the billionaires who think they can buy our democracy.

They’re tired of Donald Trump’s threats, Elon Musk’s chaos, and the far-right grift machine trying to rewrite this country in their image.

And if Democrats are smart enough—and brave enough—to fight in every district, we can win in 2026.

That includes here in Idaho.

James Risch isn’t just asleep at the wheel—he’s literally asleep while extremists dismantle our government.

He nodded off during Trump’s impeachment and claimed he didn’t need to go to Trump 2.0’s cabinet confirmation hearings, saying, “I’m sure they’re all great.”

One of those “great” picks?

Pete Hegseth—the Fox News host turned “military secrets leaker-in-chief.”

This is the level of judgment we’re dealing with.

While the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) guts critical agencies, slashes healthcare funding, and tries to dismantle the programs that keep families afloat, Risch is cheering it on and defending it.

He’s not questioning the damage—it’s exactly what he wants.

Medicaid? On the chopping block. Veterans’ services? Slashed. Public health programs? Gone.

This isn’t fiscal responsibility—it’s a full-on demolition of our democracy, and Risch’s got the hard hat on.

We can beat him. But only if we start now.

When I adopted my sons in 2017, I never imagined that just a few years later I’d be running for office to protect our rights to exist, to marry, to vote, to raise a family without fear.

But the far right made that choice for us.

Now we get to make ours.

Join me today—let’s finish what we started and flip this seat together.
