Dear Friend,
I wanted to make sure you saw the latest news from our team about the earthquake in Myanmar that has already killed hundreds of people and experts fear many more have died.
This is a major emergency, Friend. Early reports point to catastrophic damage and a significant loss of life. Most electrical and phone grids are down, and we expect to see disruptions to food, water, and medication supply chains.
Can you please assist our emergency response efforts by making a donation today? Your emergency gift can help rush urgent aid and supplies to families and children impacted by this devastating earthquake and ensure we continue our mission around the world, wherever the need is greatest.
Thank you,
Rabih Torbay

BREAKING NEWS, Friend: a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake has struck Myanmar, collapsing buildings in the area and even miles away in Thailand. Will you rush an emergency contribution now?
|
This disaster has left destruction in its wake — killing at least 144 people and injuring 732 others in Myanmar. Deaths have also been reported in Thailand, with the toll expected to rise in the coming days across the region.
Myanmar is already grappling with poverty, conflict and fragile infrastructure, and has put out a request for international assistance.
Project HOPE is mobilizing an emergency response to assess local health infrastructure and provide medical care, critical supplies, and other aid to people impacted by this devastating earthquake.
But our emergency response efforts depend on your support. We need to raise $50,000 before midnight tonight to power our efforts to save lives in Myanmar while continuing our lifesaving mission around the world, wherever the need is greatest. Will you rush an emergency gift now?

Thank you for making a difference in moments of crisis.
