Best, Stopping China's Unfair Playbook China is the world’s second-largest economy, yet the United Nations still formally designates China as a “developing nation," allowing them to receive financial benefits and military advantages meant for developing countries. It is an absolute disgrace the UN lets China dodge its dues under this false and misguided determination. That’s why I joined Congressman Neal Dunn in introducing the Ending China’s Unfair Advantage Act. This legislation would stop China from exploiting international trade loopholes—a common tactic by the CCP—and prohibit American taxpayer dollars from funding certain UN programs until China is no longer designated as a “developing nation.” The U.S. should not be funding programs that China takes advantage of using this ploy, and this critical bill will ensure China cannot play by a different set of rules on the global stage. It’s time to stop allowing our own resources to be used against us and end this America-last scam. Cutting Biden's Burdensome Rules and Holding Educational Institutions Accountable This week, the House voted to overturn two more of Biden’s radical conservation standards that set expensive and overreaching regulations on businesses’ refrigerators and freezers. Plain and simple: cutting regulations cuts costs for Americans! The House also took action this week to crack down on shady foreign cash flowing into our colleges across the U.S. I voted for the Defending Education Transparency and Ending Rogue Regimes Engaging in Nefarious Transactions (DETERRENT) Act to demand transparency for the sake of both students & taxpayers. Accountability starts here. Celebrating Women's History Month with President Trump In case you hadn't heard, March is Women's History Month, and I got to celebrate all the hardworking women – past and present – who make a difference every day with President Trump and my friend and fellow Iowan, Senator Joni Ernst. I am so thankful for the president’s leadership, and I appreciate his administration’s recognition of the tremendous impact women have on our great nation. Not celebrating men pretending to be women – but elevating strong, conservative, intelligent women. Joe Biden and the Left tried to erase women, demeaning the many accomplishments of trailblazing female leaders before us. As a working mom fighting for other moms – I know what women across this country care about, and I know they deserve to be celebrated for doing it all! In Case You Missed It: Quick Hits I joined Todd Starnes on Newsmax to discuss cutting funding for wasteful social experiments. I cosponsored the One Flag For All Act to make President Trump’s One Flag Policy the law of the land. I supported eliminating tax on tips for hardworking Americans! I called out Democrats for flip-flopping their position on streamlining government just to avoid giving President Trump credit. I thanked the Trump Admin and Attorney General Bondi for bringing violent criminals to justice. I closed out National Ag week with a shoutout to MBS Family Farms and the Mehmen family from Bremer County. I cheered on the Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team! I called out Boston's radical mayor for her dangerous soft-on-crime policies. I promoted awareness for National Severe Weather Awareness Week. Don't forget to follow me on Truth Social!
