Friend, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are going after Social Security.

We've already seen them take a chainsaw to other vital programs and agencies – from gutting humanitarian aid and USAID to mass firing the dedicated public servants who make up our federal workforce. Now, Musk is peddling debunked claims that Social Security is rife with fraud, calling it "the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time."

Make no mistake about it: Trump and Musk are talking trash about Social Security because they want to get rid of Social Security. But I'm not about to let that happen.

Social Security is one of the most important pieces of legislation ever passed. This program has helped millions of Americans pay their bills and retire with dignity, and millions upon millions of Americans continue to rely on it to this day.

So I'll promise you this, friend: I am not about to let anyone rip the rug out from under our seniors. I am not about to let anyone touch my mother's Social Security. I'm going to keep standing up and fighting with everything I've got for you and our families in the Senate.

But the reality is that I'm facing an uphill battle against a GOP-controlled Congress, so I need folks like you to help me build up a massive groundswell of grassroots support.
