I’m coming to you on the heels of the unprecedented momentum I’m seeing around the country.

People are fed up with Mitch McConnell and his Republicans’ inaction on gun violence prevention -- and they’re demanding action.

Right now, there’s bipartisan universal background check legislation, passed by the House, waiting for Mitch McConnell and his Senate Republicans.

This bill proves my Democrats and I have meaningful solutions to curb gun violence.

And I refuse to allow McConnell to drag his feet on this any longer.

I know that if we all continue to hold McConnell’s feet to the fire, he won’t be able to ignore us any longer.
