Now more than ever, I’m thinking about a lesson my grandmother taught me:
Big change is only possible when we get off the sidelines.
That’s how we make progress in our communities — by showing up to local government meetings, signing petitions for causes we care about and getting involved in our kids’ schools.
That’s how we elect leaders who truly represent us — by knocking doors, making calls and talking to our neighbors about the candidates we want to see in the halls of Congress.
That’s how we combat harmful attacks on Black, brown, LGBTQ+ and marginalized communities — by speaking up against injustice and demanding more from our leaders.
And that’s how we win.

There’s no way around it, John:
Voter turnout among Democrats declined from the last presidential election. We lost the House and the Senate. Now, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are running our government into the ground.
We have A LOT of work to do. But we can’t give up hope.
The midterms are just around the corner, and we have the power to elect new leaders who will hold the line against the MAGA agenda.
And we can build on our amazing victories in November by electing more leaders like:
