Our nation is facing an unprecedented crisis, and the time for action is now. It’s time for law enforcement to enact real, lasting change. We need to prioritize public safety and equal rights. We must ensure that transparency and accountability are at the forefront of policing. With those values in mind, the Law Enforcement Action Partnership has released National Recommendations to Transform Policing.

Signed by nearly 100 law enforcement officers, these recommendations address the most urgent issues in rebuilding community trust. LEAP believes it is our duty to speak in opposition to police violence and in support of the peaceful protests we see happening around the country. And we know it’s our responsibility to keep the momentum for change moving forward.
