Dear John,
As your representative in Congress, it is my job to listen to your concerns and work to uplift our neighbors. I wanted to share a quick update about some of the ways I’ve been working for our community.
Joined a Community Town Hall
Recently, I heard directly from local residents about their concerns with the chaos being caused by Donald Trump and Elon Musk, and how their actions are making life harder and more expensive for so many people in our community, including veterans and small business owners. We also discussed the devastating impact their radical plan to gut the Medicaid program will have on so many people in our community.
I’m better at my job when I hear directly from the people I represent, so I encourage you to reach out to share your thoughts about the issues important to you. You can send me a message by clicking here.
Honored Inland Empire Educator Dr. Margaret B. Hill
I was proud to host a U.S. Post Office dedication ceremony to honor the late Dr. Margaret B. Hill, a longtime educator and community advocate in the Inland Empire. Dr. Hill devoted her life to making San Bernardino a better and more compassionate place. She always stood up for what she believed was right and became the voice for countless children throughout our community. That’s why I led the effort to rename this post office in her honor. It is so important to see her name enshrined in San Bernardino, and I hope this tribute inspires us all to carry on her legacy for years to come.
I will continue to listen to our community, uplift our neighbors and work to make life better for the people of the Inland Empire.
Thanks,
Pete Aguilar
Member of Congress
