*Gov. Reynolds signs list of bills into law* DES MOINES— Today, Governor Kim Reynolds signed the following bills into law:
SF 377 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act prohibiting the consideration of the deployment, implementation, or use of a motor carrier safety improvement when determining a person’s employment status. HF 260 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to the Iowa Lottery. SF 153 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to driver age qualifications for certain commercial motor vehicle drivers operating solely intrastate to transport hazardous material. SF 605 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to state income tax withholdings on winnings from sports wagering and including effective date provisions. HF 181 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act prohibiting open containers of beverages containing tetrahydrocannabinol in the passenger area of motor vehicles on highways and making penalties applicable. HF 180 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to the criminal offense of grooming and the sex offender registry and making penalties applicable.
