  *Gov. Reynolds signs list of bills into law* DES MOINES— Today, Governor Kim Reynolds signed the following bills into law:

SF 377 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act prohibiting the consideration of the deployment, implementation, or use of a motor carrier safety improvement when determining a person’s employment status. HF 260 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to the Iowa Lottery. SF 153 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to driver age qualifications for certain commercial motor vehicle drivers operating solely intrastate to transport hazardous material. SF 605 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to state income tax withholdings on winnings from sports wagering and including effective date provisions. HF 181 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act prohibiting open containers of beverages containing tetrahydrocannabinol in the passenger area of motor vehicles on highways and making penalties applicable. HF 180 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to the criminal offense of grooming and the sex offender registry and making penalties applicable. SF 603 [ [link removed] ]: A bill for an act relating to workforce compensation and training, unemployment insurance, and other functions and programs of the department of workforce development, the workforce developing board, and local government entities, and including effective date provisions.
