CNN just reported that Trump and Musk have “set their sights” on Social Security. 

And Republicans are pushing through a cruel scheme to slash Medicaid too!

Let me pull back the curtain and explain how we got here:

FIRST: House Republicans BLOCKED a bill to protect Social Security.

THEN: Newspapers warned that the Trump administration could enact “vast changes” that jeopardize safety net initiatives that MILLIONS of Americans rely on.

NOW: CNN just confirmed that Trump/Musk have put Social Security on the chopping block – along with Medicaid that covers 72 million Americans.

There they go again, John.

Republicans are trying to rip away hardworking Americans’ earned Social Security benefits and health care in order to enrich their big money MAGA donors.

During the last Republican majority with Trump, they passed a tax cut with 83% of the benefits going to the top 1% and increasing the national debt by $2 TRILLION. Now, they are DOUBLING DOWN with a plot to add $4 TRILLION to the debt this time and are pushing through a cruel scheme to slash Medicaid, threatening lifesaving health care for 72 million Americans.

It’s harmful. It’s dangerous. And to be honest with you, it’s unforgivable.
