As our nation continues to mourn the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, David McAtee -- and far too many others -- it’s critical we take the time to acknowledge that so much police violence is gun violence.

It’s crucial we move forward with common-sense gun violence prevention measures.

But Mitch McConnell and his Republican colleagues refuse to take action.

BEFORE MIDNIGHT: Add your name next to ours to DEMAND Republicans move forward on gun violence prevention.

Today is Gun Violence Awareness Day.

And as we take a moment to remember the 36,OOO lives lost from guns every year, we must also take the time to acknowledge that so much police violence is also gun violence.

This past month has only made it more clear we need to work harder than ever to not only protect those who are disproportionately impacted by gun violence, but also those who are disproportionately impacted by police violence.

This work starts with enacting common-sense gun violence prevention measures.

Right now, there are measures that could save countless lives sitting on Mitch McConnell’s desk -- and have been for over a year.

We’ve had enough of Republicans’ inaction.

We’re asking you to join us right now and demand Republicans finally take meaningful steps to protect our communities.

Please, will you add your name next to ours before midnight to DEMAND Republicans take action on gun violence prevention?
