Hi there,
Over the past several weeks, we’ve been hyper focused on winning the most important election so far of Trump’s second term—which is almost here.
What makes Tuesday’s Supreme Court election in Wisconsin so important? First, we know it’s winnable. Wisconsin is one of the nation’s most evenly divided states, which Trump won by less than a percentage point.
Right now, both sides are saying the race is extremely close. It’ll come down to who can best turn out their voters in an off-year, so soon after a presidential race. That’s why we’re calling voters and [sending funds to the Wisconsin Democrats]([link removed]), who are working hard on-the-ground to make sure every voter understands the stakes.
This race is also super important because of its national implications—which is why it’s getting so much attention from Donald Trump and Elon Musk. Last week, Trump endorsed conservative Wisconsin Judge Brad Schimel (who said he wants to be a “support network” for the President). And Musk is pulling out all the stops in his attempt to buy a seat on Wisconsin’s state Supreme Court, to support their extreme agenda.
In addition to paying tens of millions to flood the airwaves with attack ads, Musk just announced he’s holding a talk in Wisconsin Sunday night, where he’ll personally deliver one million dollar checks to two people who voted in this election (!)
We have the power to fight back. By working together, we can win in Wisconsin, last year’s closest battleground state.
[This is the last weekend to help win this critical state seat with national consequences—here’s how to take action in the final stretch]([link removed]).
The outcome in Wisconsin could shape the future of voting rights, fair maps, control of the U.S. House next year, and even 2028’s presidential election. Wisconsin is a critical national battleground, and this race will help determine the political landscape we face heading into the 2026 midterms.
That’s been motivating people across the Swing Left community to go all-in making calls, knocking doors, and raising money for the liberal candidate, Judge Susan Crawford. Time is running out, so here’s how you can lend a hand today:[]([link removed])
- [Join our National Phone Bank on Sunday, March 30th]([link removed]). Join other Swing Left volunteers making calls to help potential voters make their plans to get to the polls on Tuesday. Every vote will count. Not available on Sunday? [Here are other phone banking opportunities]([link removed]).
- [Give now to support the Democratic Party of Wisconsin]([link removed]). In the final days, the most high impact support you can give is to the state party’s on-the-ground organizing and voter outreach engine. It not only gives them the resources they need to cross the finish line strong on Tuesday, but WisDems are one of the most effective state parties in the country at year-round organizing and this will support their long-term efforts to defend democracy in 2026 and beyond.
Tuesday’s results in Wisconsin will send a message about the power of the grassroots against unlimited spending from the world’s richest man.
We can do this, if we all pitch in.
