Hey there — can I share with you what I’m proudest of?

Every single quarter, every member of Congress has to submit a report you may have heard of to the Federal Elections Commission. This report not only includes how much we’ve raised, but exactly who is on our side.

Many folks, especially across the aisle, have huge corporate donors and wealthy max-out donors on their reports, but ours is a bit different.

When I look at our report, here’s what I see:

$5 from a librarian in DeKalb.

$10 from a teacher in Springfield.

$100 from a laborer in Brighton.

I don’t take this support or this work for granted. When I walk onto the House floor, I’m fighting for the librarians, the teachers, the laborers, and the everyday folks who are the heartbeat of the 13th District.
