As someone who’s dedicated my life to public service — in medicine and in Congress — I’m outraged by what’s happening inside our federal government.
Lifelong public servants are being fired by Elon Musk’s DOGE initiative— replaced by underqualified loyalists making mistake after mistake.
These aren’t isolated incidents. According to multiple reports:
Sensitive personal data from federal grant recipients was carelessly leaked by DOGE staff — exposing names and details meant to remain confidential.
Critical government contracts — some in place for decades — were abruptly canceled with no explanation or due process, disrupting essential services and programs.
Veteran civil servants were fired simply for having worked under previous administrations, as DOGE leadership purges anyone not seen as loyal.
Staffing decisions are being made by underqualified appointees, leading to costly errors — including mistakenly firing key personnel by accident.
And when asked about it at a recent Cabinet meeting, Elon Musk brushed it all off by saying, “A lot of them are just kids.”
Let me be clear:
We shouldn’t have 20-year-old tech bros making decisions that affect millions of Americans.
These roles demand experience, judgment and a commitment to public service — not allegiance to Elon Musk.
House Republicans won’t investigate this. They won’t provide oversight. They’re enabling it.
If we want to hold this reckless administration accountable, we must retake the House majority. And to do that, we need to hit our end-of-quarter fundraising goal.
