John,

Back when I was serving in the Air Force, I worked on ballistic missile defense with a Top Secret Clearance. I grew up in a military family, where my father and grandfather both flew P-3s in the Navy and then served for years in the military in classified environments. So I know the risks our troops face every single day, and the last thing they need is an unqualified, irresponsible leader putting their lives in unnecessary danger.

That’s what Pete Hegseth has done – and as much as he and the rest of the Trump administration want to deny it, the rest of the story is out. The Atlantic has confirmed, without a doubt, that Secretary Hegseth did send targets and launch times that are absolutely highly classified.

If I had done something as reckless and irresponsible as this while I was serving in the military, I would’ve been prosecuted. Meanwhile, Hegseth and company don't even have the decency to resign. Instead they continue to lie, under oath, about their mistakes and the gravity of this situation.

This is yet another illustration of Secretary Hegseth’s gross incompetence. He's a danger to the nation and our troops, both here and abroad, and he needs to resign immediately. John, as long as I'm in office, I won't stop putting pressure on the U.S. officials in this group chat. That's why it's so important that I reach my critical $5,000 end-of-quarter goal.

Please, will you rush $5 now so I can keep holding the Trump administration accountable and stop them from putting our national security, the lives of service members, and our democracy at risk?

There’s work to be done,
