TELL CONGRESS: Americans across the country are gathering outside of Tesla showrooms to protest Elon Musk. In response, Trump is threatening to charge activists with domestic terrorism. We need to stand up to Musk and Trump and defend the right to protest. Sign the petition: Protesting Tesla is not a crime!
Hi, Elon Musk is taking a hatchet to the federal government, attacking vital departments and programs like Social Security, Medicare, and the Veterans Administration. In response, Americans across the country are taking the streets to protest Musk’s actions outside of Tesla showrooms. Citing a handful of cases of vandalism, the Trump administration is labeling all Tesla protesters as domestic terrorists, implicitly threatening them with severe punishments for exercising their First Amendment rights.1 Sign the petition: Protesting Tesla is not domestic terrorism! Trump told one reporter that Tesla protesters are “going to go through hell.” A White House spokesperson doubled down, saying that “Leftist activists are nothing short of domestic terror[ists].” Trump is already illegally detaining and deporting pro-Palestinian student activists, and it’s clear he is ready to extend these authoritarian actions to anyone who questions his agenda. We must defend our right to protest. Sign the petition: Protesting is not a crime! Denounce any attempt to arrest and imprison activists. Thanks for taking action, Sources:
