More than ever, Alabamians are struggling to afford basic needs like groceries and health care. Alabama Arise is working to meet the moment to fight for working people.

Alongside our members, we are pushing for more equitable policies that allow everyone to have the resources they need to thrive. Just last week, more than 200 people joined Alabama Arise Action and Alabama Arise at the State House in Montgomery to speak directly to lawmakers about the importance of reducing the state grocery tax so families can afford to eat, and of protecting Alabamians from junk health care plans that don’t provide the health care access they really need.
