John,

Too many Republican members of Congress fear Trump more than anything
else. Too many of their Democratic colleagues fear any kind of fight at
all.

Holding town halls — all comers welcomed, no question off limits — shifts
the focus to the people those members of Congress are supposed to serve.
If they fear anyone, let it be the people who put them in power in the
first place and who have the power to remove them in the next election.

Texas Congressman Troy Nehls has refused to face his constituents and hold
a town hall. So last night we traveled to Fort Bend county and held one
for him.

Minnesota governor Tim Walz joined me and nearly 2,000 constituents from
the 22nd Congressional District to talk about the future of this country
and — most importantly — the action each of us is willing to take to save
it.

The road ahead is going to be the toughest we’ve ever traveled. But we
will walk it together, having decided that between the choice of fighting
or surrendering, we choose to fight.

Beto

John, if we
want to keep this momentum going – reaching more voters, hosting more
town halls, and growing this movement – we need the resources to make it
happen.

Texans where they are, and continue building the democracy we deserve.
