This week, during the DOGE Committee hearing, we took on the critical issues that the American people are demanding we address. No, it wasn’t the skyrocketing cost of food, and it certainly wasn’t the ongoing attacks on Social Security and Medicaid by billionaires like Elon Musk. Instead, we found ourselves facing an absurd question: Is Sesame Street nothing more than left-wing propaganda?

Robert bravely asked the hard questions we all deserve answers to:

· Has Elmo ever been a member of the Communist Party?

· Are Bert and Ernie part of some “extreme homosexual agenda”?

· Should we cancel Big Bird for promoting pro-vaccine, anti-freedom views?

Of course, these questions are ridiculous. Sesame Street and PBS have been vital contributors to the education, emotional development, and well-being of children across America for the last 50 years. But this hearing shows us just how far off track our priorities have become.

While the GOP focuses on nonsensical distractions, the real crises continue: Elon Musk and Donald Trump are dismantling our institutions, military secrets are being leaked over unsecured apps, and Homeland Security is detaining individuals without proper due process. We can't afford to sit idly by any longer.

We need to act now and flip the House. With the Republicans holding only a slim majority, several key special elections could determine the future balance of power before 2026. It’s time to stand up for accountability, stop the nonsense, and put a stop to the Trump/Musk agenda.
