Hi– The volunteers who lead our movement are on the ground every day working to ensure gun safety remains a priority no matter who is in the White House. And all of our hard work is being noticed—which is why a generous donor has stepped up to MATCH all grassroots donations to Everytown from now until the end of the month!
I've been crisscrossing all over the country, attending Advocacy Days and witnessing firsthand all the hard work our Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers are doing. We managed to get 24 bills passed and onto the governor's desk in Virginia, demanded the Minnesota legislature vote down reckless legislation that would promote use of deadly force, and pressured Colorado lawmakers to reject a dangerous bill that would repeal the state's firearm dealer licensing requirement law. And now, we are on the ground in Wisconsin—knocking doors, making phone calls, and educating voters ahead of next week's election there. We can keep moving the needle and keep progress going across the country, but it's going to take all of us to continue our work on the ground.
