Here’s what’s happening at the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park
Un-bear-ably Adorable
Get ready for a cub-date! Shala, a sloth bear at the San Diego
Zoo, welcomed two cubs in early December. Just as they do in
native habitats, the duo spent time bonding in their private den before
beginning to explore their big, new world. For this vulnerable species,
every addition to the global population helps safeguard their future.
Stroll down Center Street on your next visit to the Zoo and see if you
can spot Shala’s playful little ones. In the meantime, these adorable
cubs need names! You can help us choose
by voting in
our poll from now
until April 1 at noon.
