At Dream.Org, we are committed to transforming systems so they work for
everyone. Right now, that means fighting to protect Medicaid because we
know that public health is public safety. When people have access to
healthcare, crime rates drop, families stay stable, and communities
thrive. While some lawmakers are pushing for huge budget cuts that would
restrict Medicaid access for millions of families, we’re mobilizing to
protect every American’s right to care.
We’re also pushing for clean energy policies that are sustainable and
drive economic growth. We are steadfast in our commitment to making
opportunity accessible—that’s why we’re excited to partner with Coursera
and offer free online courses on everything from tech skills to business
strategy.
Every win starts with action. Let’s keep pushing for smarter policies,
stronger communities, and real opportunities. —Nisha Anand

The Public Health is Public Safety campaign, which aims reduce overdose
deaths and promote healthier communities and saner policies is underway,
now facing frightening new challenges from the federal government. Studies
have shown that when individuals have access to mental health services,
substance use treatment, and preventive care through Medicaid—we reduce
crime, lower incarceration rates, and ease the burden on emergency rooms,
first responders, and law enforcement. So why do billionaires want to cut
nearly a trillion dollars in funding for it? [ [link removed] ]Join nearly 10,000

Well, well, well… Look who’s warming up to clean energy. Some Republicans
are finally realizing that slashing green jobs, raising energy prices, and
stalling economic growth might not be the best move. On March 9th, 21 of
them actually told Speaker Mike Johnson to protect the Inflation Reduction
Act’s (IRA) clean energy tax credits. It’s proof that clean energy isn’t
just about climate—it’s about the economy. This is a big shift, and we’re
excited to see what happens next. This is only the beginning, we’ll keep
you posted as things unfold!
