New Video: Young Expecting Mom Says No to Abortion and Yes to Jesus

By: Nicole Hunt

In a touching video making its way around the Internet, a young, expectant mother tears up, saying she will be “forever grateful” to the sidewalk counselor who talked to her outside an abortion clinic, the women celebrating her baby with a baby shower and for finding Jesus in the process.

The video was recently posted by the pro-life organization Love Life on their TikTok page and is now being shared on all social media platforms. It has over 187,000 views on X.

In their TikTok post, Love Life explains that they met “Momma C” on the sidewalk outside of Planned Parenthood when she was five months pregnant. “Since then,” they say, “she has surrendered her life to Christ and is now faithfully attending Destiny Church in her community. And this Saturday, we had the incredible honor of throwing her a baby shower!”

The video captures the tender moment when Momma C stood up at her baby shower to say thank you to the large gathering of women and children.

“You guys don’t even know me and you guys did all this. I will forever be grateful.”

Girls Sports Coaches are Incentivized to Recruit Men — Parents Shouldn’t Let Them
By: Emily Washburn

Men don’t belong in women’s sports.

After years of watching men swing, shatter, punch and stomp their way to women’s trophies, it’s refreshing to know the vast majority of Americans — including the president — finally agree.

But America’s rediscovery of women’s rights doesn’t erase years of affirming young men for invading women’s spaces and stealing their athletic victories.

States, public schools and institutions like the NCAA aren’t stepping up to protect your sisters, daughters and nieces. Some proudly pledge to continue allowing boys to compete in girls sports, even if they lose federal funding.

Men are still taking women’s trophies. Girls are still being forced to change in front of boys.

It’s vital that parents and concerned citizens stand in the gap for their loved ones. Your mission? Eliminate incentives for men to compete in women’s sports — starting with the coaches.

Boys make girls teams virtually unbeatable, which means coaches have incentives to recruit them.

This isn’t a cynical take. Allen Cornwall coaches Class A track and field in Maine, where Katie Spencer, formerly John Rydzewski, “won” a pole-vaulting title in February. The former track and field official told Outkick, “[Spencer’s assistant coach] was kind of into it. Someone said he had ‘championship fever’ … [he was excited] to win.”

Adopted Worship Leader Isaiah Moore Headed to Hollywood on ‘American Idol’
By: Zachary Mettler

Isaiah Moore, a 22-year-old worship leader from Oneonta, Alabama, is headed to Hollywood after earning his “golden ticket” on American Idol season 23.

Moore, who works at Redeemer Community Church in downtown Oneonta, shared more about his story during his audition with judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and season four winner Carrie Underwood. The season premiered on ABC on March 2, 2025, with the first episode garnering 5.91 million viewers.

“I have two brothers, one of them lives with me,” Moore shared. “When he was three months old, me and him were put into the court system and we were about to go into foster care.”

Moore shared that his mom was addicted to drugs and was incarcerated multiple times. “But by God’s grace and all His blessings, my maw maw and paw paw took us in, and they raised us the best that they could,” Moore divulged, adding,

“Having struggles with my mom, I struggled with not getting to see her growing up.

“As I got older, she tried to do better. I can say today with a happy and joyful smile, that she is free from drugs and rehab for three years. And she is also here with me today.”

“That’s amazing,” Underwood replied. “Praise the Lord.”

Moore dedicated his audition to his brother. “He’s been having a hard time the past year. You know, I worry about him. I love him.”

Christian Movie Madness: What’s the Best Christian Movie Ever?
By: Jeff Johnston

Focus on the Family’s Plugged In movie reviewers just unveiled their Christian Movie Madness Bracket — where you can join in the fun and pick what you think are the best Christian movies of all time.

Our crack Plugged In team pulled 64 of the top-grossing Christian films of all time, seeding them according to Box Office Mojo’s lifetime adjusted box office earnings.

The films are placed in four different brackets and paired off against each other according to their seeding.

Plugged In’s Bret Eckelberry told Daily Citizen the one film that was included that wasn’t on Box Office Mojo’s list was Cru’s The Jesus Film.

He explained, saying,

“The exception to this was The Jesus Film from 1979.

“Though we couldn’t find specific financial information about it, Cru (which distributes the film) estimates that 5 billion people have seen the film across the globe. We felt like that deserved a #1 seed!”

People have strong feelings about movies. I’m sure you have your own favorites, whether it’s The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; The Kendrick Brothers’ Courageous; War Room; Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie; Sound of Freedom; or God’s Not Dead.

But we all know what films deserve to be in the final four. Seriously, I’d hate to influence your vote, but here are my picks.

In God’s Economy, There is No Need to Panic
By: Paul Batura

According to Merriam-Webster, a panic is “a sudden overpowering fright,” an “unreasoning terror” or widespread concern regarding financial affairs.

The word is rooted in Greek mythology where a so-called “god” named “Pan” was known to elicit extreme anxiety in both man and animal.

In 2025, media and political agitators are the new “pans” of the era. Their goal is two-fold. First, they want to get your attention and earn your click. Second, they want to either confirm or change your opinion to be in alignment with their (usually) radically liberal point of view.

Early Thursday, the ignominious Drudge Report was running the following banner headlines:

“CONSUMER PANIC HITS RICH AND POOR” … “WALL STREET SPIRAL CONTINUES.”

Linking to a Wall Street Journal article, we read that Americans are pulling back on their spending. Walmart CEO Doug McMillon acknowledged that for many, the “money runs out before the month is gone.”

Costco’s Chief Financial Officer Gary Millerchip told the publication that customers are being “very choiceful,” which is code for saying they’re buying more essentials and fewer impulse-type items.

Many families and individuals can relate.

History is both a good teacher and source of perspective. Financial ups and downs are part of any capitalistic economy. We all know about the Great Depression and more recently, the financial crisis of 2008.
