As this quarter wraps up, we’re gearing up for some big moments in the months ahead— moments that remind us why this work matters and why we can’t slow down now. In April, we’ll honor the lives lost in the Columbine shooting and take action during National Youth Violence Prevention Week, making sure students and teachers have the tools to recognize warning signs. At the same time, we’ll be watching as the Florida Legislature wraps up, working toward putting more bipartisan school safety measures in place.

In May, it’s Teacher Appreciation Week — a chance to celebrate the educators on the frontlines of school safety and push for the policies and resources they need.

And in June, we’ll mark National Gun Violence Awareness Month and Stand With Parkland’s founding anniversary — a time to reflect on how far we’ve come and rally even more people to our school safety movement.
