Kamala Harris is asking — humbly — for you to donate to the Democratic National Committee before Florida's special election next week. This is important.

On April 1 (no joke), there are two congressional special elections in Florida. One of them is for Matt Gaetz's old seat.

These are deep-red districts. But to the surprise of many, Democrats are running strong campaigns and are within striking distance.

Now here's the important part.

Republicans have such slim margins in the House that flipping one of these could significantly imperil their plan to pass tax cuts for billionaires paid for by cuts to lifesaving programs like Medicaid and nutrition assistance.

But even if these races are close, Republicans could lose their nerve as they realize how deeply unpopular their agenda is, even in red states and districts.

The DNC is investing in Florida. Of course, Elon Musk has started spending to support Republicans there, as well. But a strong showing for the DNC in these final days could be the difference.

So Vice President Harris is asking:

Can you please rush a donation to the Democratic National Committee today? Help them win these races in Florida while electing Democrats up-and-down the ballot to flip the House and stop Trump's agenda.
