As March comes to a close, we reflect on the powerful legacies of Black feminist thought that have shaped our movements and communities. From the foundations of Reproductive Justice to the ongoing work of scholars, activists, and organizers, Black feminist discourse has given us the language and frameworks to challenge injustice and envision liberated futures. 

This month, we affirmed the expansiveness of womanhood—recognizing that trans women belong — always have and always will. Black feminist theorists have been essential in helping us see trans women in their fullness and recognize the intersecting systems of violence they face. Our curated syllabus, "A History of Black Feminist Discourse & Its Futures," explores concepts like "ungendering," "intersectionality," and "misogynoir," illustrating how gender is shaped by history and power. These readings make clear how the womanhood long denied to Black women parallels the ways it is denied to trans women today. 

We hope these resources, offered in honor of Women’s History Month, will spark reflection and dialogue, and we invite you to carry these lessons forward in the fight for reproductive and gender justice. Thank you for learning and growing with us.
