Service disruption information
Our project to improve safety at Victoria Bus Station as part of the Bus Service Improvement Plan meant that the bus station has to be completely closed this week. It is due to re-open on Monday morning (31 March).
During the closure, resurfacing took place on York Street, Union Road and all ten bus bays.
National Highways have announced details of a closure of the QMC roundabout between Friday 11 April and Monday 14 April:
We’ll soon be re-waterproofing the bridge deck on the A52 at QMC roundabout, Nottingham.
Due to the nature of the work we need a full weekend closure from 8pm on Friday 11 April to 6am on Monday 14 April, but unlike our previous weekend closures we’ll be able to keep more routes open, reducing disruption.
We only need to close the northern section of roundabout, between the northbound entry slip road and southbound exit slip road for Middleton Boulevard.
Middleton Boulevard will remain open as will its northbound entry slip road and the A52 Derby Road between the Priory and QMC roundabouts.
Traffic will be diverted via Middleton Boulevard to Crown Island where it can turn around and head back to the QMC roundabout.
We expect this route to be busy so please make sure you plan ahead, check your route before travelling and allow extra time for your journey.

NET are carrying out tramworks from 12 - 16 April, so trams will stop running at Nottingham Station and Old Market Square respectively, meaning the Lace Market stop will be completely out of action.

The footpath between the playparks off Holme Road and the river, on the south side of the river, will be closed from Monday 24 March until late April while its being upgraded as part of the bridge project. The stone path will be replaced by a three-metre tarmac path
Thank you for using another route while we carry out this upgrade.
The operators of Nottingham's tram system closed the doors permanently on Tuesday to its travel centre in King Street. More here.
