Hi there, I wanted to write a note on what Maura’s been up to this month.
First, a quick update on our grassroots fundraising — we’re closing the gap towards our March goal, but we still have a ways left to go.

Thanks to incredible support from across Massachusetts, we’ve been able to hit our goals the last two months . We’d love to let Maura know that we’re keeping up the momentum, so we really appreciate any help closing the gap. You can click on the link above to see our progress live.
This month, Maura has shown how she leads. She kicked off the month with interviews with the New York Times and Seth Meyers where she laid out how she thinks we need to respond to Donald Trump: standing up, getting out there, and delivering for people.
She testified to the Ways and Means Committee about how her new budget isn’t just focused on building on her progress so far — it’s also about protecting crucial rights and freedoms that could come under fire from Washington D.C.
To combat high energy prices, she announced her new Energy Affordability Agenda to immediately lower energy costs for consumers by $220 million (including an immediate credit on April bills) and save $5.8 billion for electric and gas customers over the coming years. This includes implementing the nation’s first ever discount for middle-income families.
She visited the Berkshires to talk about how her historic Transportation Plan will make sure Massachusetts no longer kicks the can down the road on crucial investments in our infrastructure , like culvert repairs, and she visited the South Coast to announce that for the first time in 65 years, passenger rail is back — delivering on something promised for the last 7 administrations.
Just yesterday, she stood up to Trump’s $11 billion in cuts for public health grants, condemning his actions for making life harder and more expensive for Americans in every state.
This month has been a great example of how Maura leads — by never being afraid to stand up for what’s right and constantly working to deliver on issues that affect everyone across our state.
That’s how she’s gotten so much done so far, and it’s how she’s going to continue building a stronger future for Massachusetts. If you’d like to support her and help us hit our goal this month, you can chip in at the link below.
