Dear John,

Last August, when our Christian faith was mocked on a global stage at the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, CitizenGO was the first to stand up. We didn't stay silent. We were there—boldly defending the image of Christians worldwide.

Then something happened to me that I’ll never forget.

I was unjustly arrested—handcuffed, humiliated, and treated like a criminal—simply for standing up for my faith.

You remember, right?

The French police arrested me and five of my colleagues from the CitizenGO team after we peacefully demonstrated against the disgusting parody of the Last Supper at the Paris 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony.

We weren’t violent. We weren’t disruptive.

All we did was organize a bus to circle Paris, urging the Olympic organizers to stop mocking Christians.

Remember? This one right here ⬇️

That’s it. That was our “crime.”

But the authorities didn’t care. They sent armed police to stop us.

They threw us into police vans, confiscated our belongings, denied us access to lawyers, and humiliated us—all for standing up for our faith and exposing their disgusting attacks.

It was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life—something no one should have to go through.

But it left me with a single conviction: That this cannot go unanswered!

That’s why, thanks to your incredible support, we were able to file a lawsuit against the French Government.

Because this isn’t just about what happened to me — it’s about protecting you and every Christian who dares to speak out in public. It’s about making sure governments can’t get away with persecuting and silencing believers like you and me.

But here’s what’s truly shocking:

Instead of defending its actions in court, the French Government is trying to shut the case down before it even begins!

Yes, really.

Rather than argue their case, they’re hiding behind procedural tricks—hoping the court will refuse to even hear it.

The same French government that refuses to protect our churches from near-daily attacks is the one that sent armed officers to silence us for defending our faith.

That tells you everything. It shows just how dire things have become—and why we have to fight our corner in places like France. Because the government isn’t just ignoring Christians… It’s actively squeezing us out of society, intimidating us, and punishing anyone who dares to speak up.

That’s why this case is so important—because it exposes a deeper truth.

Under French law, the Supreme Court decides when a case is “ready to be tried.” And right now, the case is still under discussion between the parties.

And the truth is—this part of the legal process is notoriously murky. In fact, the French legal system is so vague and complex that it’s nearly impossible for ordinary citizens to challenge government decisions.

That’s exactly what they’re counting on now: that the court will toss the case before it reaches trial.

But there’s good news.

Our initial legal memo was so convincing that the Government has already dropped any attempt to justify its actions - That’s incredibly rare in France. It only happens when the Government knows it actually broke the law.

All they’re doing now is trying to dodge accountability and bury the case before it’s heard.

But we won’t let that happen. Our legal team is pushing forward, countering every weak argument they throw at us.

The next big step? A decision from the Conseil d'État — France’s highest administrative court — on whether judicial review will proceed.

If the court accepts it, it’ll be a major breakthrough. It would prove our case is not only legally sound — but that Christians cannot simply be arrested, silenced, and ignored.

Because this fight is bigger than me. It’s bigger than our team. It’s even bigger than this case.

Christians across the world are facing growing hostility. Arrests. Prosecutions. Censorship. Intimidation.

This case is about drawing a line in the sand. About saying: Enough!

For now, that’s that. I wanted to update you on how things stand. I’ll keep you personally updated at every step of this journey.

Thank you, truly, for standing with us in this fight from the very beginning.

Sebastian, Matilde, Jason, Anne, Chris, Isabel, and the entire CitizenGO team
