It’s Women’s History Month — and this is an issue that needs your attention:
Under the Trump administration, books by and for women are under greater threat than ever.
In the last school year alone, over 10,000 book bans were passed by GOP state legislatures.
This includes many books written by amazing women throughout history — including Rosa Parks, Ruby Bridges, Malala Yousafzai and Anne Frank.
Why? Because Trump and his GOP allies in the states know that when students learn the history of marginalized communities, they fight back against injustice.
In honor of Women’s History Month, will you be one of the 75 local signatures we need today to demand GOP state legislatures END senseless book bans?
