Dear A.,
Anti-Israel members in the House and Senate are actively attempting to undermine America’s alliance with Israel.
In the Senate, Bernie Sanders announced today that he will force a vote on two resolutions to block critical arms sales to Israel as soon as Monday. This dangerous effort undermines Israel's security as our ally is fighting a multi-front war to free the hostages and defend its families.
Sanders' announcement follows a vote earlier today in which the House overwhelmingly defeated two anti-Israel amendments led by Rep. Rashida Tlaib.

URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell your Senators to vote NO on Sanders' anti-Israel resolutions, and thank your Representative for voting NO on Tlaib’s anti-Israel amendments.
The two decisive votes in the House — 3-410 and 4-404-1 — reflect a strong bipartisan affirmation of American support for the U.S.-Israel relationship.

applauds the House for overwhelmingly rejecting Tlaib's dangerous amendments and for passing the underlying bill, the DETERRENT Act, to increase transparency of foreign funding to American schools and universities.
Congress must continue to stand unwaveringly with Israel and oppose anti-Israel efforts to undermine our democratic ally, including by rejecting Bernie Sanders' dangerous resolutions.
IDF continues operations in Gaza, destroying terror infrastructure
IDF troops operating in Rafah in southern Gaza located a 25-barrel rocket launcher, the IDF announced today, as it continues to degrade Hamas' capabilities and increase the military pressure on the terror group.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz

said today that the IDF will soon operate in additional areas of Gaza: "Gaza residents, the IDF will soon operate with intensity in additional areas in Gaza and you will be required to evacuate for your protection from the combat zones."
"The plans are ready and approved... Learn from the residents of Beit Lahiiya, as they did, you should also demand the removal of Hamas from Gaza and the immediate release of all Israeli hostages. This is the only way to stop the war," he added, referring to the Gazans that have protested against Hamas this week.
For a second consecutive day, thousands of Gazans took to the streets, chanting in Arabic: "Hamas out. Hamas is terrorist."
The United States must continue to increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Turkey and Iran to release the 59 hostages, including 5 American citizens, still held captive in Gaza.
Houthis launch another missile at Israel
The Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen launched two more ballistic missiles at Israel earlier today, following additional launches earlier this week. While the missiles were successfully

Meanwhile, the United States is continuing to carry out strikes on the Houthis.
Since 2023, Houthi terrorists have attacked U.S. Navy warships 174 times and commercial shipping vessels 145 times, driving up the cost of shipping and forcing vessels to divert around Africa.
National Security Adviser Mike Waltz said over the weekend that U.S. strikes have "taken out key Houthi leadership, including their head missileer," adding, "we've hit communications nodes, weapons factories and even some of their over-the-water drone production facilities."
The United States must continue to increase the pressure on Iran and its Houthi proxy, including by fully enforcing economic sanctions and taking military action when necessary to defend American interests
IDF spokesman: "When Terrorists Wear Press Vests, the Truth is Under Attack"
In a new

blog post , the IDF's international spokesman writes:
"Journalists risk their lives to uncover the truth. But in Gaza, Hamas has turned press credentials into weapons of war. They don't just manipulate the media—they infiltrate it, embedding terrorists under the guise of reporters...
For the past 17 months, we’ve seen Hamas exploit the power of media platforms, twisting press freedom into a shield for its operatives. Just yesterday (Monday), the IDF and ISA eliminated the terrorist, Hossam Basel Abdul Karim Shabat. A sniper from Hamas’ Beit Hanoun Battalion, he didn’t just carry an anti-tank rifle—he carried an Al-Jazeera press credential too, using it as cover for his true mission: targeting IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians.
This isn't an isolated case. Hamas has made it a tactic to exploit press credentials, using them to shield terrorists and advance their deadly agenda. The world’s silence in the face of this abuse only strengthens Hamas' deception."

The U.S. intelligence community

released its Annual Threat Assessment Report this week. Below are some of the notable quotes from the report:
On Hamas: "Even in degraded form, Hamas continues to pose a threat to Israeli security. The group retains thousands of fighters and much of its underground infrastructure, and probably has used the ceasefire to reinforce and resupply its military and munitions stock so that it can fight again."
On Hezbollah: "Although weakened, [Hezbollah] maintains the capability to target U.S. persons and interests in the region, worldwide, and—to a lesser extent—in the United States."
On Iranian military threat: "Iran continues to bolster the lethality and precision of its domestically produced missile and UAV systems, and it has the largest stockpiles of these systems in the region. "
On Iran's nuclear program: "There has been an erosion of a decades-long taboo on discussing nuclear weapons in public that has emboldened nuclear weapons advocates within Iran’s decision making apparatus."
On the Iran-Russia-China-NK axis: "Russia, China, Iran and North Korea—individually and collectively—are challenging U.S. interests in the world by attacking or threatening others in their regions, with both asymmetric and conventional hard power tactics."
