On Sunday, I declared all out war on woke in New Zealand. I told the packed crowd at our State of the Nation event in Christchurch that it is time to Make New Zealand First Again and fight the plethora of malignant woke policies one by one.

New Zealand First are the lowest-funded party in Parliament. But, boy do we punch above our weight. We never back down from a fight and we aren't about to start now. 

We have listened to the frustrations of New Zealanders and we will not stand idly by while our country is hijacked by pernicious woke ideology. 

But we cannot do it alone.

We were joined at our event on Sunday by a bunch of communist no-hopers who protested inside and outside of the venue. They were desperate to get on the six o'clock news and naturally the mainstream media obliged. They're more predictable than Chris Hipkins and his sausage rolls.

The Marxist whingers were looking for trouble and they came to the right place. Each of the bulldust merchants were dispatched swiftly by security and sent on their way. Hopefully in pursuit of a haircut or a valium.

These left-wing fascists from the cauldron of slow learners are a perfect illustration of the kind of insidious woke nonsense that gets in the way of New Zealand prospering and our public service achieving its objectives.

New Zealand First are prepared to do what few others will: defend our values and our future. But we need to replenish our war chest. Will you chip in?

We don't have the deep pockets of other parties nor the unions in our back pocket. But we deliver on our promises and if you want to see woke rubbish delivered a knockout blow your backing is vital.

Woke cry bullies take offence at everything and responsibility for nothing. They wailed and stomped their feet when we campaigned on ensuring we have fairness in women’s sports – that men cannot compete against women and girls. They breathlessly claim it is the end of the world that we got rid of the ‘Relationship, and Sexual Education’ guidelines in our schools. 

As we continue to disrupt the pathway of separatism and cultural Marxism through the likes of He Puapua and co-governance, they cry "racist". They even question my 'blood quantum' (and Shane Jones' too). Dare I point out the irony in leftists with zero Māori heritage telling me I am not Māori enough. They need to take a long look in the mirror.

The strangest part of it all is that hand-wringing Hipkins, shouty Swarbrick, the media, and the unions all seem surprised by our Government's actions. Well, I've got news for them. We campaigned on these policies. We published comprehensive coalition agreements outlining the actions we would take. 

To be fair to Chippy though, it must come as a surprise to see a government actually delivering on its promises.

New Zealand First is the only party standing against toxic woke policies that are wrecking havoc in our public service. We are the true nationalist party and that means we aren't afraid to make a big call on issues that are holding New Zealand back.

Top of the list of rods for our own back is the Paris Agreement. It is self-defeating and is handicapping our economy in order to reduce what amounts to a total 0.17% of global annual emissions. 

China and the United States sneeze and produce more CO2 than that in a day.

It is time for a reevaluation of our place in the Paris Agreement. We refuse to see Kiwi farmers and the provinces punished because Jacinda Ardern decided that she wanted to make a big splash at a climate event a few years ago.

If you agree that it is time to put Paris to pasture, you need to back the New Zealand First and chip in to the Commonsense Fund. 

You and I both know that the more New Zealand First challenges the sacred cows of the Left, like the Paris agreement, the more the media will accelerate spouting Labour's litany of lies. We need to be able to speak directly to New Zealanders without bothering with the woke echo chamber in the press gallery. Your contribution will ensure we have the funds to bypass the biased media to get the message to you and other Kiwis who have had enough.

Chris Hipkins sneers at New Zealand First when we raise the crippling effect of wokeness on New Zealand and our public service. But he isn't really sneering at me. He is sneering at the New Zealanders who tell MPs of all stripes that they are sick of woke ideology. He is sneering at you.

The woke circus is a bureaucratic nightmare. Our taxpayer-funded resources are squandered on compliance and endless training sessions, diverting attention from the real work at hand—serving the people of this nation. We are drowning in a sea of karakia, waiata, and rainbow flags while our people cry out for the real problems they face to be addressed. It is a disgrace.

All MPs are being told that New Zealanders are fed up with identity politics. New Zealand First are the ones listening. 

Don't sit on the sidelines as our nation grapples with this poison in our institutions. Join the war on woke and let's Make New Zealand First Again.
