 Social Dances

Monday, April 14 - Friday, April 18* Hurst Senior Activities Center 700 Heritage Circle
The Hurst Senior Activities Center is CLOSED to all members Monday, April 14 - Friday, April 18 to allow staff and contractors an opportunity to organize, deep clean, perform minor repairs, and paint inside the facility.

 Document Shredding
Friday, April 11 | 10:00 a.m. - Noon Hurst Senior Activities Center 700 Heritage Circle
Start your spring cleaning with us on April 11 by bringing all those unwanted documents to be shredded and recycled! This is a FREE drive-through service.
Please ensure your materials have been thoroughly examined to remove any combustible materials, office equipment, computer cables, old cell phones, batteries, food or other garbage that may be harmful to our shred truck. You must remove materials from 3-ring binders and any plastic casings (such as CD cases or documents in plastic folders). You don’t need to remove staples, paper clips, binder clips, hanging folders (with metal strips), manila folders, paper board legal binders, spiral notebook binders or thin plastic sheet protectors (if in relatively small quantities).

Neon Run Get ready to light up the night at our Neon Run! Deck yourself out in 90’s neon and fluorescent gear, and join us for a dazzling run through a booming course. With vibrant lights and energetic beats guiding your way, it’s a bold adventure you won’t want to miss. Shine bright, run wild, and make memories in this unforgettable experience! Choose between the 1-mile and the 5K run; it’s FREE!
1-mile walk – 6:00 p.m. 5K Run – 6:30 p.m.
90’s Silent Disco Experience the beat like never before at our Silent Disco! Put on your wireless headphones and dance to your favorite tunes without missing a beat. Choose from multiple channels, groove with friends, and enjoy a unique dance party where the music is in your hands—literally! Join us for a night of silent excitement and unforgettable fun! Don’t worry if you’re not into dancing; enjoy the music while engaging in other fun glow activities!

 Eggstravaganza
Wednesday, April 9 | 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. Hurst Community Park 601 Precinct Line Rd.
Join us for Eggstravaganza on Wednesday, April 9, from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. at Hurst Community Park! This FREE family-friendly event features a variety of fun activities, including a petting zoo, pony rides, an obstacle course, crafts, tattoos, and photos with Mr. and Mrs. Bunny.
Children ages 0-12 can participate in our exciting egg hunts, divided into separate age groups for a fair and fun experience.

 Sensory-Friendly Egg Hunt
Friday, April 11 | 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. Central Park 700 Mary Dr.
This FREE, sensory-friendly event provides a calmer egg hunt environment for children under 16 and their families. Enjoy activities like crafts, face painting, a petting zoo, and photos with Mr. Bunny!

 Doggone Egg Hunt

Sniff, fetch, and celebrate - egg-citing fun for every pup! Enjoy crafts for you and your furry companions, pup cups, obstacle courses, giveaways, and photos with Mr. Bunny! This is a FREE entry event.

Prepare for an exhilarating egg hunt adventure! Join us as we “Pop-Up” with colorful, candy-filled eggs across our amazing Hurst parks! Locations are announced on our social media stories and website at least six hours before the event.
