John, let me cut to the chase: Democrats need to stop playing it safe. We need more of a fighting spirit—period.

We’re up against an administration that thinks the rules don’t apply, that has turned over power to a corrupt billionaire, that has waged attack after attack on hardworking people—from trying to undermine Social Security to ripping away jobs from veterans.

I’m sick and tired of politicians sitting on the sidelines, too afraid to speak up for what’s right. Now is the time to stand up, speak out, and fight like hell whenever Trump and his allies try to plunder our government, strip away our rights, and sell out our communities.

That’s why I’m taking action—calling out corruption, pushing back against their attacks, and refusing to back down. But I can’t do it alone.

Taking on this kind of corruption takes a movement. It takes all of us standing together to send a message loud and clear: Enough. No more tax giveaways to the rich. No more looking the other way on corruption. No more attacks on working people while billionaires get richer.
