Hi, SAAM Supporter!

In just a few days, we'll be celebrating our 24th anniversary of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Our theme this year, Together We Act, United We Change ([link removed]), is our way of showing that our movement would be impossible without supporters like you. Together, we can make our communities safer and more respectful for all.

As we quickly approach April, we wanted to remind you of some of the many excellent resources we have available for SAAM.

Dates to Remember

Everyday of SAAM is an opportunity to do something special, but we have a few days set aside for specific action. We hope you join us!

- Day of Action ([link removed]) (April 1, 2025): Sign up for our Facebook event ([link removed]) and mark your calendar for the Day of Action—a day to wear teal, stand in solidarity, and take meaningful action to end sexual violence. You can also tune into our Instagram Live ([link removed])at 12 PM EST/9 AM PST.

- Day of Giving (April 23, 2025): Rape crisis centers, hotlines, and other victim services organizations have all experienced decreases in funding. Amplify the SAAM Day of Giving as a day to donate to the organizations in your community that help survivors.

- Denim Day ([link removed])(April 30, 2025): Denim Day is a chance to show support for survivors by wearing denim. You can also honor Denim Day by joining us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Respect Together.



With SAAM 2025 just around the corner, we couldn't be more excited to see how everyone will honor the spirit of the month and carry our movement forward.
