June 5, 2020
There’s a lot happening in our country right now. Amid it all, many states
still held primaries on Tuesday, during which Republicans nominatedwomen in
five House battleground seats– proof that recent efforts to bolster support for
conservative women are paying off!
These are the five women who won their races this week: Ashley Hinson (IA-01),
Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02), Lisa Scheller (PA-07), Victoria Spartz
(IN-05) and Yvette Herrell (NM-02).
ON TRACK TO MAKE HISTORY:
Less than half of all primary elections have taken place, and already 36 GOP
women have won their races. To put that into perspective – the record (set in
2004) is 53. The GOP is well on track to break that record!
