🏫 Signed onto a Resolution of Inquiry that was introduced to protect the U.S. Department of Education and advocated in committee for Congress to prioritize funding for IDEA and the wrap around services that our students rely on to thrive. As a teacher in Congress, Jahana will always stand up for students and school communities, and she is leading the response to attacks on education.

🖊️ Led a letter to the U.S. Department of Agriculture in response to the termination of $1 billion in state funding across the country for healthy meals for children, a decision that also impacts farmers and local food supply chains.
