Democrats Hijacked California’s Budget Process
Let’s call this what it is: a $300 billion
scam—and the victims are California taxpayers.
I exposed
Democrats on the Senate floor for their so-called “transparent”
budget process.
The truth? It’s a corrupt, backroom operation designed to shut out
the public and force through radical policies without debate,
scrutiny, or accountability.
Here’s their playbook:
-Hold a few staged “public” hearings
with limited debate.
-Quietly cut shady, backroom deals
between Gavin Newsom, Democrat leadership, and special interests.
-Drop the final budget at the last
minute—stuffed with billions in hidden spending and extremist
policies that were NEVER discussed.
-Then, when it’s time to vote, every
Democrat falls in line, loyal foot soldiers for King
Newsom, passing the budget without knowing what’s actually in
it.
This isn’t just bad governance—it’s a full-scale assault on
democracy.

us keep up the fight for transparency.
One horrifying example: In 2021, Democrats snuck in a
policy to release violent sex offenders early from prison.
They knew the public would be outraged, so they buried it in the
budget in the dead of night.
That’s using taxpayer dollars to push a dangerous,
pro-criminal agenda—without transparency, without the
public’s consent, and without shame.
While I’m fighting
back with SB 286 to reverse this disgraceful law, we shouldn’t
have to fix it in the first place! And what’s worse, many
Democrats didn’t even realize they voted for it.
This is what happens when Democrat leadership treats the budget as
their own personal slush fund—a political weapon used to ram through
their radical agenda.
And the worst part? They can get away with just about
anything.
Why? Because right now, Democrats hold a supermajority in the
legislature. They don’t need a single Republican vote to pass their
reckless budgets—and they’ve made it clear they’ll abuse that power
every chance they get.
The
only way to stop this is to elect more Republicans and we need your
help!
We need to break the Democrat supermajority, force a seat at the
table, and finally bring transparency, accountability, and sanity back
to California.
