This is it, folks — our first FEC fundraising deadline since Donald Trump returned to office is right around the corner, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support. But before I do that, I wanted to take a moment to explain why I’m counting on your support.

I first ran for Senate in 2012 because I was determined to make sure that Wisconsin families, not just big corporate special interests or the super wealthy, have someone working for them.

I wanted to make a real difference in people’s lives, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done to secure meaningful wins for working people. With this incredible grassroots team behind me, we’ve worked in recent years to expand affordable health insurance, create good-paying Wisconsin jobs, support veterans with the health care and jobs they deserve, hold Wall Street accountable, and so much more.

Donald Trump’s return to office has put all of our progress in jeopardy. From his very first day in office, it’s been clear that Trump, Elon Musk, and their Republican allies have only one priority: to serve billionaires while leaving working families behind.

They’re taking steps to gut critical programs like Medicare and Medicaid, placing tariffs on our closest trading partners that will jack up prices for Wisconsinites and hurt our farmers, cutting jobs that support and employ veterans, and more — all to make room in the budget for massive tax breaks for their wealthy friends.

Let me be clear — I refuse to stand by while Trump and Elon rip away essential programs and services that working families in Wisconsin rely on.

That’s why I’m working to fight back.

But this isn’t a job I can do alone. I need folks like you to stand with me and fight for real progress for hardworking Wisconsinites. That’s what makes our upcoming fundraising report so important.
