John, I know what’s been happening in Washington has been scary for many of you, and with good reason.
I’ve been on the ground in my district (and in Republican districts around PA, but I’ll talk more about that later), talking to voters worried about how Trump and the GOP’s drastic actions and budget cuts could harm their families, and wanting to know what we’re doing about it. Those are fair questions!
I’m working with my team to make sure constituents have the information and resources they need to protect their families right now. First and foremost, that is my job.
But I have another job too, and that’s to stand up against the dangerous and lawless corruption of this administration with every bit of power I hold. So this has been my motto in 2025: legislate, litigate, agitate. Like the sound of that? Help me do it.
So what exactly does this mean?
- LEGISLATE I’m unified with Dem colleagues strategically legislating in Congress to stop the GOP from doing Trump’s bidding and ceding him power.
- LITIGATE I’m using my role on Congress’s Rapid Response Task Force and Litigation Working Group, currently filing over 100 legal cases against the Trump administration’s unconstitutional actions.
- AGITATE I'm using my voice and role to agitate against this admin’s actions by appearing at town halls in districts across PA, including those led by Republicans who are too scared to face their own constituents. I am publicly demanding answers from the Trump administration on deporting legal residents, shutting down the Department of Education, and more.
That’s how a minority party gets to work and holds a lawless executive branch accountable to the people.

With our first public end-of-quarter FEC filing of the cycle just days away, we are focused on organizing to meet the moment we are in right now. This is our opportunity to respond to the total failure of the GOP to protect their constituents from Trump’s shocking corruption and take advantage of the expected midterm swing. Not just for my seat but for local elections across PA where I’m putting my campaign resources and strategy to work.
So this end-of-quarter, I’m not only raising money for my campaign to take back the House majority, but also to help provide things like election space for local PA campaigns, material support for local party organizing, and resources for local Democratic club protests, rallies, and civil actions. You can help.
I’m fighting in opposition from my role in Congress, but lasting change must also happen at the local level and work its way up. It’s my responsibility to take every action I can to oppose the extremism in Congress and the White House, while also helping our local parties defend our families and communities against their horrifying actions.
So today I’m urging you to help my campaign be the best opposition it can be — you can do that by donating to help us meet our goal to raise an additional $8,300 before the end of March.
If you’ve saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
